Brett approached me about getting a visual identity designed for her and her husband's yoga studio. For both it was important that it wasn't just another pretty yoga logo, but that there was depth and meaning to their brand. Brett wanted me to incorporate the Mynah bird from Aldous Huxley's "The Island", which flies overhead singing "be here and now" signifying mindfulnes.

Client Tenerife Breaks Holiday Lettings

Tenerife Breaks is a small, family run, villa rentals business in Tenerife. I was approached with the brief to come up with a new name for their business, as well as creating a whole new visual identity that would span the website, business cards, letterheads and any other printed materials used in and around their business.
The final logo uses a mesh of little pieces which together create the silhouette of Tenerife - showing that there are many different little gems to be found on the island all of which can be explored from the holiday villas. The triangluar mesh is used on all communications as a backdrop and visual element to reinforce the brand without always having to repeat the logo itself on each of the communications.

Kerry came to me after having completed a yoga teacher training course complimenting her Reiki Master training. The logo was meant to reflect her love for yoga and be rooted in indian traditional imagery.
The logo applied on reuasable take out coffee mugs.

Record label Pachinko is home to artists such as Noah and the Whale. In Japanese pachinko means both a gaming machine and a slingshot. Both meanings were explored in the visual process and the slingshot route was chosen.

Eco Seal

The Baw Baw Shire in Australia produces almost 6500 tonnes of waste each year. Natalia’s non-profit organisation needed an ‘eco seal’ which could be used by suppliers and manufacturers whose packaging materials are minimal, made from renewable sources and biodegradable.
The long term aim is that the seal will be used on packaging in neighbouring towns and eventually states.
The seal applied on the bottom of packaging.
Instead of printed brand guidelines a CD was compiled which contains all the visual branding and usage guidelines.

The personalised fruit stickers were to be stuck on Thomasina’s business cards to give a textured and individual feel. The same design approach was applied to the website.
