The little green fingers starter box is designed to make growing food at home fun and educational for young families
It contains easy season by season instructions, hands-on experiments, fun illustrations plus seeds, soil and pots.
The biodegradable packaging can be used as plantable containers and the outer sleeve doubles up as a growing chart with progress stickers.
The outer sleeve folds out into a growing calendar which then can be used with the included stickers to record growing progress throughout the year.
Twelve carefully designed booklets guide the user step by step through each month.
Pictograms allow for easy reference, while fun facts and illustrations add interest for the younger participants.
The process book contained 200 pages of documetation containing research material, info graphics and comparisons to other products, whereas the report is a concise rationale behind each design decision.
Both books are hand bound using coptic stitch and are embossed with title and illustrations.

The proposed illustrations were tested in a primary school to find out whether the children could recognise the vegetable illustrations and identify with the characters.
Some vegetable illustrations were changed in response, but the characters got lots of thumbs up and the children wanted to keep the printouts in their classroom.
